Healthy sleep is important for our health.
And sleep habits might have formed because of the pursuit of our goals, so changing it may feel risky if we are still actively working in an environment that caused us to build the habits in the first place. We may fear that if we work less and sleep more then we may lose our edge in the pursuit of our career.
But an alternative view is to think of this as an investment. To make us better at work. And life in general.
Sleep is important to keep us healthy until our old age so we can enjoy the labour of our career.
